Lots to update on, I'll start with the good... Our invitations were printed and finished this weekend yay!  I met up with Aya, who was nice enough to get them all printed for me and pick them up for me... she was in Culver City on Friday so we were able to meet up.  The printers did a great job and even threw some in for free which was awesome.  Now it's just time to assemble, which some of the girls are going to help me do on Friday.  I was going to ask Sean's mom to help me print the labels for the invitations but she said that would look really tacky, and thinking about it again, I do agree.  So, she is going to help me calligraphy all the guests names and addresses on them.  In the meantime, I was to find out how much it would be to print our return address on the envelopes.  Well, go figure I would pick a difficult kind of paper to print on, so they would have to engrave it on which would be about $200 for 20 envelopes.  Insanity!!!  Aya found me these really cute personalized stamps on Etsy, but again, beacuse of the type of material of my envelope, it would smear.... finally we found this embosser which kinda like raises the paper to the lettering you want... hard to explain...but I found one online for $5 shipping and they said they could finish it this week so I ordered it.  Crossing my fingers this works!!!

Yeah, and that was the good news!  So yesterday I went to order my cylinder vases.  I got the 6x10" ones (25 of them) and the price was not so bad... $200 for all 25 of them...but WAIT!  It was an additional $150 for SHIPPING.  What?! Yea... totally sucks!  They gave me a 5% discount when I asked if there was anything they could do, which was nice...but man, how much does that suck... to make it worse, I am now shopping around for square vases and found a great deal on saveon crafts for 6 vases for $22.50 which come out to $3.75 each!  But of course when I call and ask how much shipping is to Hawaii.... get ready... $450.... Jaw drop.... How absolutely insane is that?!?!?!  I'm going to keep shopping around but I'm starting to get really scared... who thought vases would cost so freaking much?!  Or shipping rather?!
