So this doesn't directly correlate to my wedding, but since it's wedding related (and exciting!) I thought I'd post it here.
Last October, my friend Kendra had seen a hair piece online that she really liked and considered getting for her wedding, but it was overpriced (like $150!) I was like.... "I could make that!" So, that weekend, I went down to the fabric district, did some searching, bought some materials and viola! It was a piece of cake...
Last month, she told me to check out stylemepretty.com.... her BEAUTIFUL wedding was published and my hair piece made it on there too! A few people started asking her where she got her hair piece and I am now in the midst of making one for another bride to be! Here was her email to me:

and fell in love with her hairpiece. I would like a very similar one, but with pearl-like jewels in the middle instead of rhinestones or crystals. Would you be able to make a piece like that for me? My wedding isn't until September so we have time.

Right now I am working on a new one. This one is proving to be a lot harder than the original one I made because of the embellishment in the middle....but I'm working on it! Wish me luck...
